Notice of Public Hearing

A Public Hearing will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2012, at 7:00 p.m. in the Village Council Chambers, 218 Main Street, Delia, Alberta, pursuant to the Section 692 of the Municipal Government Act, RSA 2000, Chapter M-26, to consider the proposed Land Use Order Bylaw #588-12, to replace the Land Use Bylaw #512 and all amendments there to.

Copies of the Land Use Bylaw are available for public inspection at the Village of Delia office during regular office hours.

Oral and written comments and suggestions are invited and should be addressed to the point of the proposed bylaw. They may be made by any person or group of persons or a person acting on his\her or their behalf, who claims to be affected by the proposed amendment, and by any other persons that the Council wishes to hear at the hearing. Written submissions may be made by the persons above and may be received in the Village office by 4:00pm on Monday, January 16, 2012. Oral presentation may be made at the hearing by the persons above, whether or not they have made a written presentation. The time limit of oral presentations is subject to the direction of the Chairperson.

This notice is given pursuant to Sections 606 and 692 of the Municipal Government Act.

 

Tax Prepayment Plan

The Village offers the option of paying your taxes on a monthly budgeted amount for 12 months without penalty. If your current balance is zero, and you are interested in this option, please contact the Village office for more information. You must start this in January to be eligible.

The Delia Library is hosting Get Fit! Classes with Everybody’s Gym Trainers from Drumheller.

Tuesdays @ 6pm to 7pm

$15.00 per session

February 14th and 28th  Kickboxing
